We’re thrilled to announce that Jeff Barnaby’s feature film script, Rhymes for Young Ghouls, has been selected for development by CFC Features!
In addition to this exciting new partnership, Rhymes for Young Ghouls has also secured funding from Telefilm and SODEC, and we are the only Canadian production participating in the Tribeca All Access program later this month.

This Sunday, March 25, Sorry, Rabbi will have its CBC premiere at midnight on the program Canadian Reflections, just hours after the much-anticipated Season 5 premiere of Mad Men, also starring Jessica Paré. If you haven’t had a chance to catch it on the big screen, tune in this Sunday!
In another happy coincidence, Sorry, Rabbi will also play the Cleveland International Film Festival this Sunday, March 25.

Prospector Films is looking for a part time production coordinator. We want someone who is ambitious, eager, and efficient. The candidate will need to be a diligent multi-tasker and creative problem solver who can work in both the fiction and documentary worlds. This is not a training or mentorship position and requires someone who is familiar with funding bodies and production management.
Successful candidate must be bilingual and have a minimum of 2 years experience and be open to working on a wide range of tasks.
Primary duties will include:
- Scheduling shoots
- Booking crew & equipment
- Booking travel & accommodations
- Negotiating access and permission to locations and subjects
- Working closely with producers and directors on a short timeline
- Basic budgeting and cost reporting of shoots
- Assembling documents for funding applications, tax credit administration & contract administration
- Managing festival submissions
- Managing tape delivery to festivals and partners
- Assist in managing the office (supplies, cleaning, etc)
- Assist the producers in a variety of other admin and production tasks
This is a 1 year contract position with a three month trial period. The position is 3 days / week and we can offer a rate of $15 /hr. Candidates must live in Montreal and be residents of Quebec.
