On Thursday, November 22, we wrapped shooting on Jeff Barnaby’s first written and directed feature, Rhymes For Young Ghouls.
We’d like to give a big thank-you to the entire cast and crew, and especially to the people of Kahnawake, without whose cooperation and generosity we would not have been able to make the film. It was an amazing five weeks, and now we’re excited to be headed into post-production.
In the meantime, to whet your appetite, here’s a new production still and some fantastic media coverage generated after press visited set in Kahnawake on November 19. Here’s a great article by T’Cha Dunlevy in the Montreal Gazette and two TV pieces by Salimah Shivji on CBC News Montreal and Sébastien Diaz on Voir Télé.
